This is a J7, it is almost exactly one year old. I have an iRobot subscription and was eligible for an upgrade. It is/was still in fine working order, but I took the upgrade. When the new one arrived the old one was “deactivated”. They did not want it back & the email said to go ahead & recycle it. I didn’t think pitching it was the best idea ever, so here we are, lol. I have read online that changing the motherboard will unlock it 🤷♀️. The various parts seem to be available here on ebay if you’d like to give it a go. Officially it is being sold “for parts” with no warranty expressed or implied. You will get the robot & the charging base.
