This Jet Speed Indy Race Car is from my collection of tin toys. I have collected toys for over 50 years and now am downsizing my collection. 100% original and unrestored. This was a Sears exclusive car made for Christmas in the 1960’s. Cost just 5.95 as to the original Sears store tag. Very limited production. It is a large over 16″ tin battery operated Jet Speed Indy Racer made by Yonezawa for Marx back in the 1960’s. The tin car body is in very good condition with no dents or damage. Original factory paint and litho. Tin wheels and rubber tread excellent. Driver and windscreen original and in excellent condition. Battery box clean. Tested with D batteries and all actions work strong. Actions include speed control by using shift stick. Another stick controls engine sounds. When turned on the engine lights up with variable colors and the engine piston sounds are very good. Direction controlled by moving front wheels. The box is an exact reproduction and in excellent condition with bold colors and litho.
