fridge with fantastic design features, offered at a retail price far below that
of the traditional manufacturers such as Dometic, Waeco and Webasto etc. New to this 12volt compressor fridge supplied by CamperHappy is the ability to set different temperatures to the fridge and ice box compartments. This feature is not even available on high line fridges yet – this should help operation at temperatures at the extremes of the design parameters. We have advanced electronic features such as an
adjustable battery cut off, Night Mode, and Dual compartment programming. The
Battery cut off can be set at 8.5, 10.1 or 11.1 Volts. We recommend the highest
setting (Set as Default) to ensure you don’t cause any damage to your Battery.
When wired into a 24 Volt D.C. system the cut off voltages are different. Here at Camper Happy We find the controls on
the Liberty fridge very intuitive to use, with the display icons common to most
tech now. The On/ Off button also controls the night mode. The Settings
button toggles the thermostat display between Freezer on the
left and Fridge on the right. The + and – buttons control the temperature
settings, as actual measurements. The display always returns to the actual
Fridge/Freezer temp after adjustment. Door has 2 trays, both removable with adjustable divider to keep bottles upright during travel. The door can be hung either right handed or left handed. There is an adjustable full depth wire shelf and
a clear horizontal ¾ divider which can be placed in a choice of 4 different
heights. There is a clear removable drop-down door at
the b ase to use as a salad crisper Fixed drain to the
rear of the fridge which is great if you intend to use your fridge for long
periods of time, allowing internal condensation to drain away automatically,
an important feature for our FloatYourBoat marine customers. Pre moulded fixing points to screw the
fridge in place securely from the inside of the fridge. Cover plates are
supplied to conceal the fixings. The fridge size is fairly standard for a small
’50 litre’ fridge. It measures 380mm wide X 525mm high X 480mm deep. This makes
it directly interchangeable with the Dometic CRX50 and CRE50 ranges, where
furniture has been pre-made or you are fitting a replacement unit. Overall, we love this fridge, and we are sure
