Antique Gibbs lithograph Pony Circus Monkey Wagon Toy for parts or restoration

This antique Gibbs lithograph, Pony Circus Monkey Wagon, No. 53 pull toy is quite difficult to find for collectors of vintage and antique toys. The working pull toy, made in the United States in 1910, features a charming cage of monkeys and acrobat children design on both sides of the open painted wood wagon. Both the wooden horses have moving legs and work properly. GIBBS Manufacturing Co. of Canton, Ohio, circa 1900 is known for their high-quality toys such as this one. It measures 13″ x 5 1/2″ x 4″ high and is in fair to poor condition as the lithograph on both the horses is completely worn off from years of childhood play. The horses could be painted brown or left as they are or used to restore other GIBBS toys. The antique driver figure seated inside the circus wagon is also included. Therefore, selling in “as is” condition with no returns or adjustments.
