Antelope Pronghorn Shed Horns Antlers Sheds Hunting Taxidermy Rare 5 shed horns from Wyoming Pronghorn Antelope. It is rare to find antelope sheds because they are actually classified as horns and made of hair. The sheds will basically kind of dissolve over time. Therefore it’s much harder to find them on the prairie. Perfect horns for taxidermy displays, arts/crafts, etc. Horns measure between 11.5-12 inches in length. They are weathered and aged from laying in Wyoming sun. They do have cracking from sun and some broken prongs from fighting. I’ve found you can really shine up and help preserve antelope horns by rubbing some Vaseline on them. Sheds would be great for taxidermy displays or habitat scenes.
